Meet Willy the automatic soap dispenser piggie! If you are like us at The Family Co-op, you are encouraging your little ones to wash their hands regularly. We discovered that the three little pigs soap pals - Elmer with a light gray base, Willie with a light blue base, and Jiggs with a green base -- had a twofold benefit in our home: our children were suddenly a lot more excited about washing their hands multiple times a day and we further reduced the spread of germs in our household by switching from a touch pump to an automatic dispenser. Plus, they are really cute and adults love them too!
Regular hand washing has been proven to be effective in reducing the spread of germs, bacteria and viruses. However, manual soap dispensers and bar soaps can work against hygiene by becoming collecting places for bacteria, viruses and other germs.
Automatic soap dispensers like Willy do not come into contact with germs, bacteria and viruses that people carry on their hands, helping to stop the spread of contaminants . They are activated when someone places their hands in front of the sensor. A measured amount of soap is then automatically released into the user’s hand.
